Editorial and sourcing policy

Effective and checked 2026-07-21

Sources

Material facts are presented with identifiable sources. Older briefs without sufficient direct article URLs remain outside search indexes until upgraded. First-party clinic pages are preferred for clinic facts.

Authorship and automation

Articles using automated collection or drafting disclose that process on the page. Automated articles become indexable only when they include direct article URLs from at least two distinct publishers.

Review labels

Editorial checks and clinical review are distinct. MediIndex does not use a medical-review label without a verifiable named reviewer and role. Clinicians listed on official clinic websites are profile information, not presumed article reviewers.

External links and relationships

Clinic links appear only where they help verify a relevant clinic or treatment page. MediIndex does not repeat external clinic links sitewide, and a link alone does not imply partnership or endorsement. Any future paid relationship must be disclosed on the relevant content.

Funding and independence

The clinics featured in our desks cooperate by confirming their own published details and allowing links to their official pages. MediIndex receives no payment from them for that cooperation or for coverage, and they take no part in choosing, writing, or reviewing articles. If advertising or paid content is introduced, it will be labeled clearly on the page where it appears.

Images

Article images are generated to illustrate the clinical setting a story concerns. They are not photographs of an event or a person, and MediIndex does not use photographs belonging to the outlets it cites. Each image says it was generated in its alt text.

Corrections

Readers can report errors in addresses, phone numbers, clinician details, sources, or article text through the contact page. Confirmed errors are reflected in the content and modification date.
