The break comfortably covers surgery, stitch removal and the most visible swelling before school photos and new faces arrive. The risk is the assembly-line feel of peak season: same-day decisions, compressed consultations and choosing a date before choosing a plan.
Eighteen-year-old lids differ from person to person as much as any other age — some are ready, some are still changing shape. Book consultations with a specialist early in the break, compare at least two, and let the exam findings on your own eyes, not the season, set the date.
